JamVote is a product of JGEEE Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal information.

The following information is used solely to provide app functionality and is never collected or stored:

• Display Name: When joining a session as a guest, you provide a display name that is visible to the host and other participants. This is only used during the active session and is discarded when you leave.
• Session Information: Session names and voting data exist only during an active session and are transmitted directly between devices on the same local network.

How Your Information Is Used

All information you provide is used exclusively to:

• Enable real-time communication between hosts and guests during voting sessions
• Process votes and manage the song queue
• Display advertisements (for non-premium users) via third-party services

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of this information.

Third-Party Services

Apple Music

JamVote integrates with Apple Music to access your music library and play songs. Your Apple Music data is handled according to Apple's privacy policy and is used solely to provide playback functionality within the app.

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to non-premium users. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can learn more about Google's data practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Data Storage and Security

JamVote operates as a peer-to-peer application with no backend servers. Session data, including votes and queue information, is transmitted directly between devices on the same local network. When a session ends, all session-related data is automatically discarded.

Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data. Display names, votes, and session information are temporary, exist only on local devices during an active session, and are never transmitted to or stored by JGEEE Software LLC.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Choose not to provide a display name (though this is required to join sessions)
• Leave a session at any time, which removes your participation data
• Purchase premium to disable advertisements
• Request information about what data we collect

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
